Playa Arenas Blancas

Playa Arenas Blancas is a picturesque beach located south of the airport, accessible via the LP2 road and then taking a left onto the LP217. The beach is nestled in a cozy cove adorned by black malpaís, a stark contrast to the white sands typically associated with Fuerteventura.

The beach is known for its impressive waves, which can be mesmerizing to watch, especially when they are particularly large. However, visitors are advised to be cautious when swimming, especially on windy days, as the conditions can become challenging. For a more serene swimming experience, it is suggested to go 500m further to the end of the village.

Despite its natural beauty, the beach is not overly crowded, offering a peaceful retreat for visitors. However, it is worth noting that the beach is surrounded by relaxation houses, which can give a feeling of being watched.

Amenities at the beach include a restaurant, although the quality of the road leading to the beach could be improved. Despite these minor inconveniences, many visitors have expressed their love for the beach, with some even choosing to stay for extended periods.
