Bačva Beach is a natural pebble beach located with a picturesque view towards the island of Lastovo. The beach is known for its crystal clear and beautiful blue sea. The right side of the beach features large, unreal-looking rocks, while the other half is adorned with small pebbles shaped by the sea. The beach provides an easy entrance to the sea and is often described as a fairy tale setting. There are a few houses in the bay, and a small cafe-restaurant is located above the beach. The beach also offers sunbeds for visitors.
The beach is accessible via a steep, narrow, and approximately 3 km long asphalt road that leads to a parking lot near the beach. The road, although challenging, is paved and well-maintained. The parking lot is free and is located about 100-200m from the beach, requiring a short walk. The beach is not typically crowded, especially for those who arrive early in the morning.
In addition to its natural beauty, Bačva Beach offers amenities such as a toilet and the opportunity to rent kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. The beach also has a small restaurant that offers a simple yet tasty menu and drinks. However, visitors should be aware that there is a chance of encountering jellyfish while swimming.
