Ballinger Beach

Ballinger Beach, also known by locals as Currimundi Dog Beach, is a stunning and expansive beach that is particularly popular among dog owners. The beach extends quite a distance, with the dog walking zone alone spanning 1.5 kilometers, making for a good return walk of 3 kilometers. It is best visited at low tide. The beach is dog-friendly, allowing dogs to be off-leash along the beach and on-leash off the beach. There are also facilities available to wash dogs after their beach fun. During peak hours, there are plenty of dogs for socialisation, and most owners are diligent about cleaning up after their pets. In terms of amenities, Ballinger Beach is well-equipped with good parking and facilities. It is also conveniently located near cafes. Occasionally, a mobile coffee truck can be found in the carpark.
