Balpetek Plajı

Balpetek Plajı is a public beach located in the Fevzipaşa neighborhood of Didim. The beach is characterized by its olive trees and rocky terrain, providing shaded and flat areas for visitors. The shore is rocky, and the entrance to the sea is a bit stony after the sand. However, a plastic pier in the area allows for easier access to the water. The sea is quite shallow, making it suitable for children and non-swimmers, although caution is advised. The beach is equipped with changing cabins, while showers and seating areas have been built by the residents of the nearby Balpetek complex. Despite the lack of a designated parking area, visitors can easily access the beach by parking their cars on the side of the road. The beach is always open and tends to attract a crowd, which can sometimes result in the water appearing blurry due to the movement of the sand on the bottom. However, the sea is quite clean. The beach also offers opportunities for diving from the pontoon, and sailing is a popular activity among visitors. Despite the lack of sand, the beach's natural characteristics and amenities make it a family-friendly destination.
