Barney Point Beach is an east-facing beach located in the southeast of Gladstone, Queensland, Australia, approximately 524 km from Brisbane and 118 km from Rockhampton. The beach is named after Lieutenant Colonel George Barney who led the expedition to establish the Colony of North Australia in 1847. It is situated along the Prince Regent Esplanade and Young and Barney Streets on the foreshore.
