Belediye Plajı

Belediye Plajı is a public beach located in the heart of Kuşadası, adjacent to the Setur Marina. The beach is known for its accessibility, as it is wheelchair-friendly, allowing individuals with disabilities to easily access the sea. The beach is also renowned for its clean and shallow waters, making it a safe and ideal location for families with young children. There is even a small play yard specifically designed for children under five years old. The beach offers a sandy surface, perfect for sunbathing and swimming. Visitors can enjoy the sight of the Cruise Port, green hills, and the famous historical castle of Kuşadası, providing a unique and scenic view. However, while the water quality is acceptable for swimming, it may not match the pristine conditions of some more remote beaches in Kuşadası. A number of amenities are offered at Belediye Plajı, including showers and toilets, and it is also equipped with safety barriers manned by guards for the security of its visitors. Umbrellas are generously provided, spaced at 2-meter intervals, and are available to use free of charge. However, sunbeds are not provided, so visitors are advised to bring a foldable chair. During the summer months, the municipality organizes beach parties, offering visitors the opportunity to participate in these free events. The beach is conveniently located near the city center, providing easy access to markets, ATMs, restaurants, and other amenities. Getting to Belediye Plajı is straightforward. Visitors can use minibuses numbered 2, 6, or 7, or they can choose to walk, given the beach's central location. Also, parking spaces are available for those who prefer to drive.
