Cala Brafi

Cala Brafi is a small, secluded beach located in the southern region of Mallorca, near the town of Felanitx. The beach, typically not crowded and often frequented by locals, is known for its pristine, natural landscape and is characterized by a terrain of pebbles, sand, stones, rocks, shrubs, and trees. The coastal area is rocky, and the beach's dimensions are approximately 35 meters by 15 meters. The entrance to the sea is marked by stones, and the beach has a medium gradient, with calm water conditions. Access to Cala Brafi can be a bit challenging due to its remote location and the lack of signposting. Visitors can park their vehicles southwest of Cala Marcal, and from there, they need to follow a rugged trail on foot to reach the beach. The hike is of medium difficulty, and it takes about 10 minutes. Due to its somewhat difficult access, the beach is not suitable for people with disabilities. Despite its natural beauty, the beach may not always be clean, with microplastics sometimes present in the water. There is also a presence of algae and sea debris. The beach is not considered family-friendly and dogs are not permitted. However, it is a popular spot for nudists. As for amenities, Cala Brafi is rather minimalistic. There is no provision for sun lounger rentals, showers, toilets, restaurants, bars, lifeguards, or promenades. There is also a limited parking space available for visitors. However, the beach does offer a variety of activities such as fishing, snorkeling, swimming, and diving, although equipment for these activities is not available for hire on-site. Visitors can also indulge in hiking and climbing in the surrounding area, and the beach is a great spot for watching the sunrise.
