Branscombe Beach

Branscombe Beach is a secluded, pebble beach located a short walk from the town of Branscombe. The beach is known for its stunning scenery, including beautiful cliffs and a long stretch of coastline that is perfect for walks. Despite its rocky nature, the beach is appreciated for its tranquility and is never overcrowded. The beach is accessible via winding roads, which can be a little cramped, so caution is advised when driving. Parking is available close to the beach, with a spacious car park that accommodates day visitors. Amenities at Branscombe Beach include a cafe, toilets, and a shop selling beach items and ice creams. There is also a pub nearby. For those interested in coastal walks, there are paths on either side of the beach. The beach is also dog-friendly, with plenty of space for dogs to run around, especially away from the cafe area. However, due to the pebbly nature of the beach, it is recommended to wear shoes when paddling in the ocean. While the beach may not be suitable for building sandcastles, it is great for exploring rock pools and admiring the beautiful stones.
