Spiaggia Calatubo

Spiaggia Calatubo is a long, free beach located near Balestrate. It is characterized by its very fine golden sand and shallow water that extends for many meters, creating beautiful sea ripples. The beach is surrounded by a lush, green environment, adding to its natural charm. Despite its size, the beach maintains a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. There are some lidos present for visitors' convenience. Parking is easily accessible, with even closer proximity for scooters. However, in recent years, there has been a noted decrease in the water quality, the cause of which remains unknown. The beach also has a section with a large disused building and is often littered with rubbish. The access to the beach is filled with pebbles, and the water often contains seaweed.
