Camel Beach

Camel Beach is a highly recommended sandy beach located on the Bodrum peninsula. It is easily accessible by car and bus from Bodrum City. The beach is known for its pure sand without any rocks, both on the beach and in the water, a characteristic that is hard to find in this area. The water is clean, clear, calm, and flat. Even 30 meters from the beach, the water only reaches a depth of 1.5 meters, making it perfect for children and non-swimmers. The beach offers a good infrastructure with sunbeds, umbrellas, and showers/locker rooms. These amenities are provided by various establishments along the beach. Most of these establishments offer the beds and umbrellas for free, requiring only that visitors eat or drink during their stay. The beach is relatively clean, although small amounts of litter can sometimes be found in the sand. Parking at Camel Beach is free. The beach is generally not too crowded, making it an ideal location for families. The entry fee varies, but part of it can be used towards food at the establishments on the beach. Despite its name, there are no camels at Camel Beach.
