Chamolia Beach

Chamolia Beach, also known as Vravrona Markopoulou Beach, is a serene coastal region situated in Chamolia, Markopoulo Mesogeas, Athens, in the heart of Central Greece. This beach, part of the Porto Rafti - Limin Markopoulou area, is nestled along the sea and is admired for its tranquil atmosphere. The natural characteristics of Chamolia Beach add to its unique charm. It boasts a series of cliffs and small coves that offer opportunities for exploration. The beach is fringed with trees, providing a much-needed shade for its visitors. Despite this, the beach is often characterized as rocky and slightly unkept. In terms of amenities, Chamolia Beach is relatively sparse. There is a shortage of shower facilities and the available toilet facilities are often in a poor state, sometimes without water. There is also no lifeguard service on duty at this beach. Getting to Chamolia Beach can be a bit of a challenge. There have been reports of large and potentially aggressive dogs near the access point, which may discourage some potential visitors. Despite these obstacles, the beach is not typically crowded. Most of its visitors are of older age who prefer to unwind on chairs rather than on the sandy beach itself.
