Climati Beach

Climati Beach is a beautiful, pebbled beach known for its great water for snorkeling. The beach is characterized by a mix of cold and warm water due to the fresh water flowing from the underground. It is a quiet location with only a few people around, making it a perfect spot for those who enjoy silence and the sound of waves. The beach is also suitable for good swimmers who can venture to the nearby bay. The beach is a bit difficult to find due to the very narrow way leading to it. However, it is worth the effort as the beach offers a unique experience. The cool currents from the mountain springs flow from under the surrounding rocks, making the water very refreshing. There are a couple of places to jump from the rocks, but suitable footwear is needed as the rocks can be quite sharp. Visitors are advised to pick their times to go as by midday a couple of boats with other visitors may turn up and anchor in the bay. The beach is usually quiet in the morning and late afternoon. There are no amenities at the beach, so visitors are advised to bring the right equipment, food, and drinks as there isn't really anything nearby. Parking at Climati Beach is very limited, so visitors might have to walk a short distance from the car park at the top off the main road. Despite this, the beach is worth the walk as it offers a lovely private experience without an umbrella or sun bed in sight. The small beach is good for snorkeling, with warm patches of water and a variety of fish to see.
