Playa de Cue

Playa de Cue, also known as Antilles or Canales, is a picturesque semi-urban beach located in the municipality of Llanes, in the region of Asturias, Spain. Known for its natural beauty, it is nestled between several islands and lush greenery, creating a captivating landscape. The beach is particularly stunning during low tide, revealing expansive sandy areas and intriguing nearby caves, one of which features a stream of fresh water flowing.

The beach is 380 meters long and 40 meters wide, characterized by calm, clear waters and white sand. Despite its beauty, the beach tends not to be overly crowded, even during peak season, offering a peaceful experience for visitors. However, the sea conditions can vary, with periods of calm interspersed with times when the waters can become quite dangerous.

In terms of amenities, there is a bar in the vicinity of the beach, providing a convenient place for visitors to unwind and soak in the views. However, access to the beach may require some effort, as it involves a walk down to the beach, which, while scenic, can be somewhat challenging.

Playa de Cue is easily accessible by foot or car, with the nearest road being N-634. However, it should be noted that there is no access for disabled individuals. For those driving to the beach, there's an unguarded parking lot with over 100 spaces. The closest hospital to the beach is the Hospital del Oriente de Asturias, ensuring that medical help is readily available if needed.
