Cala del Moro

Cala del Moro is a picturesque beach located in the municipality of Peníscola, within the province of Castellón, in the Comunidad Valenciana region of Spain. The beach is renowned for its natural beauty, featuring a rugged stony landscape interspersed with submerged rocks. Despite its rocky terrain, the beach is safe for children, though visitors are advised to wear appropriate footwear for navigating the area. The beach itself is an urban beach, stretching 40 meters in length and 10 meters in width. It boasts moderate waves and golden sand, providing a captivating natural environment for visitors. During the peak season, Cala del Moro tends to be crowded, attesting to its popularity among both locals and tourists. In terms of amenities, Cala del Moro provides an unguarded parking lot for visitors. However, the parking lot has less than 50 spaces, which can be limited during peak times. Visitors are therefore encouraged to plan their visit in advance to ensure a smooth experience. It should be noted that while the beach is accessible by car via the nearest road, the N-340, there is no access for disabled individuals. In case of emergencies, the closest hospital is the Hospital de Vinarós, which is located nearby. Despite the lack of extensive facilities, the natural charm and allure of Cala del Moro make it a must-visit destination for beach lovers.
