Spiaggia Del Mort is a serene and naturalistic beach situated near Eraclea Mare in the Veneto region of Italy. The beach is distinguished by its fine sand and clear sea, which makes it a preferred location for fishing. However, the water, while generally of good quality, is not crystal clear.
The beach is surrounded by a small forest and various dunes, creating an ideal place for relaxation and enjoying the sea. The beach also backs onto dunes and a pine forest, preserving its undeveloped character and making it one of the few remaining untouched beaches in the upper Adriatic. To prevent marine erosion during storm surges, the beach is enclosed by a low wall and concrete steps.
Spiaggia Del Mort is not exclusively a nude beach, but it is popular among naturists. Visitors have the choice to sunbathe either naked or in swimsuits. However, due to the prevalence of nudity, the beach may not be suitable for families with minors.
In terms of accessibility, the beach can be reached via a long dirt road, followed by a twenty-minute walk through fields and lakes. This trek ends with a winding wooden bridge that leads directly to the beach. The total walking time from the parking area, which is situated about five minutes away, to the beach is approximately 25 minutes.
Although it is a natural and unattended beach, Spiaggia Del Mort is generally kept clean. Nevertheless, its unattended nature calls for continuous upkeep and it is not well-regulated. Therefore, it may not be suitable for those who are not comfortable with naturism. The beach is free to all and does not have any attendance.
