Spiaggia della Spinazza

Spiaggia della Spinazza is a long, family-friendly beach located in the Noto province, part of the island of Marzamemi. The beach is well-maintained by the Commune di Noto, which regularly cleans the beach of both litter and seaweed. However, it has been noted that waste, particularly plastic and cigarette butts, can sometimes be found on and behind the beach. The beach is characterized by its gentle slope, making it an excellent choice for families with children as everyone can find a depth suitable to them. Unlike other beaches in the area, boats are kept out of the swimming area, ensuring a safe environment for swimmers. Approximately a third of the beach is occupied by lidos, a ratio that is considered better than many other beaches. The beach is easily accessible for those staying in Marzamemi, making it a convenient choice for visitors who prefer not to travel by car. Despite its convenience and family-friendly nature, some visitors may find Spiaggia della Spinazza less charming than nearby beaches.
