Demircili Plaj

Demircili Plaj is a beach located in Demircili Mahallesi, within the Urla district of Izmir, Turkey. The beach is situated in the southern part of Demircili Bay, accessible via the path through Kuşçular Köyü village.

The beach is known for its natural beauty, highlighted by the clean water and the scenic mountain nearby. It comprises a mixture of sand and stones, with the sandy part beginning approximately 7-8 steps into the water. Interestingly, the beach features small paths in the water where larger rocks have been removed to facilitate walking for visitors. The beach's environment is suitable for pleasant walks, and lucky visitors may even spot flamingos.

Demircili Plaj offers various amenities, including the Ada Camping facility that provides breakfast, a restaurant, and camping services. Visitors can also rent umbrellas and barbecues on-site. There is a designated area for caravan waste disposal. The beach is particularly popular for camping, with visitors often noting the spectacular view of the stars at night. It is also a favored spot for diving, especially in the rocky area to the right of the cove.

Accessing Demircili Plaj can be somewhat challenging due to the tricky road leading to the beach. Therefore, it is recommended that visitors have a car to reach the beach. Despite the somewhat difficult access, the journey is often considered well worth it for the relaxation and natural beauty the beach offers. Visitors should, however, be aware that the water at the beach can be cold, which might pose a challenge for those not accustomed to it.
