Spiaggia di Punta Prosciutto is a stunning beach located in the Salento region, nestled between the provinces of Taranto and Lecce in Italy. It is a part of the protected marine area of Porto Cesareo and the Regional Natural Park of Palude del Conte and Duna Costiera. Recognized for its tropical allure, Punta Prosciutto is often referred to as the Caribbean beach of Salento.
The beach is characterized by its extensive stretch of white sand, high dunes, and transparent, shallow waters. The coastline stretches for several kilometers, with a short rocky section at the start, before transitioning to soft white sand. The dunes, which can reach up to eight meters in height, are covered with typical Mediterranean vegetation, adding to the beach's natural beauty.
Punta Prosciutto is a popular destination for both locals and tourists due to its pristine and wild scenery. It attracts visitors throughout the year, offering opportunities for sunbathing and swimming in the summer, as well as photography and relaxation in nature during the winter. The beach is also known for its rich flora and fauna, which led to the establishment of the Regional Natural Park of Palude del Conte to protect the natural habitats found in Punta Prosciutto.

Parking is available at a nominal fee, with free side street parking also accessible within a short walking distance to the beach. Visitors can reach Punta Prosciutto by driving or taking a bus from Porto Cesareo or Lecce.
Despite its ample space, the beach can get crowded, especially during the summer months. To enjoy a less crowded experience, visitors are advised to plan their visit during the off-peak months such as the end of May, the first part of June, and September.
