Egremni

Egremni beach is located in the southwestern region of Lefkada, Greece, and is renowned as one of the most picturesque beaches in the Mediterranean Sea. The beach is encircled by colossal cliffs, which make it challenging to approach but offer breathtaking views. The waves are continuous and ideal for surfing, and the water is crystal clear with a striking turquoise hue. The beach spans 2.5 kilometers and is covered with fine sand, small stones, and pebbles of varying width. Despite its popularity, the beach is almost never crowded and has minimal infrastructure. Visitors are advised to bring their supplies and equipment. In order to access the beach, visitors must either descend the 340 steps along a vertical staircase or take a boat. Visitors should take safety precautions such as wearing comfortable shoes for the descent and avoiding the cliffs or camping near the sea. Presently, the beach is only accessible by boat, but a staircase is under construction and will be completed by 2021.

Visitors recommend bringing beach shoes as the small stones on the beach can be uncomfortable, and renting an umbrella as there is no shade.
