Playa El Asparalló

Playa El Asparalló, also referred to as La Vila Joiosa or Villajoyosa, is a tranquil beach situated in Alicante, Spain, in the Valencian Community. The beach is recognized for its clear waters and beautiful views, which makes it an ideal spot for snorkeling. The marine life in its waters includes a variety of fish and octopuses. The beach is divided into two parts, with a larger section accessible by walking around a rock formation. This division provides visitors with a choice of a more secluded or a more spacious beach experience. The beach is primarily composed of pebbles, and lacks sandy terrain, which contributes to the clarity of the water. Playa El Asparalló is located in a quiet area and is easily accessible by a 16-minute walk from the Paridis tram stop. Despite its many attractions, the beach is often quiet, with only a handful of visitors even during peak times. However, it is also known to have a medium level of occupancy. The beach is 200 meters long and 15 meters wide, with little variation. The beach does not have the distinction of a blue flag and is considered a naturist beach. It is isolated and located at the foot of cliffs, with vegetation behind the beach. The area is considered a protected natural area. Playa El Asparalló has a regular cleaning service and offers various amenities such as toilets, showers, public telephones, and rental services for umbrellas and hammocks. However, it does not have facilities for disabled access, bus service, parking, tourist office, telephone, trash cans, umbrellas, hammocks, nautical activities, yacht club, diving, or a marina. Parking is available on the road, with a hill leading down to the beach. It is signposted and easily accessible on foot. Despite its challenging access, the beach is worth visiting for its natural charm and peaceful atmosphere. However, the beach does not have any food and drink services available.
