Playa Els Tossals

Playa Els Tossals is a long, serene beach in the municipality of Guardamar del Segura, which is part of Alicante. The beach, stretching 1,672 meters in length and 50 meters in width, is nestled between the Marina de las Dunas Marina and Playa de la Marina. Its natural beauty is defined by its golden sand, moderate waves, and the protected natural spaces known as tusales, which are bordered by dunes and rich vegetation. The beach's seclusion from urban areas and low occupancy rate of 30% during peak season make it a tranquil haven that is reminiscent of a virgin beach. It is a popular spot for viewing sunsets and sunrises, and its shallow sea makes it a great location for swimming. The beach also offers ample space for engaging in sports activities like surfing, paddle surfing, and kayaking, or simply for families and friends to relax and enjoy their time. Despite its natural and somewhat isolated character, Playa Els Tossals offers a range of amenities to ensure the comfort of its visitors. These include restrooms, foot showers with seawater, cleaning services, trash bins, and danger signs. Visitors also have the option to rent beach chairs and umbrellas. While there are no stores or bars directly on the beach, there are restaurants and beach bars in the nearby area. Reaching the beach requires a moderate walk through the tusales area on a wooden walkway. Those driving can use the B-332 road to get close to the beach. While parking near the beach is limited, with an unguarded area providing fewer than 50 spaces, there is additional parking available at both ends of the beach. Visitors are advised to bring everything they need with them due to the limited commercial amenities on the beach.
