Eratini Beach

Eratini Beach is a popular destination that attracts thousands of visitors annually. It is known for its clear, blue waters and is easily accessible by foot from the nearby town. The beach is partially organized, providing facilities such as umbrellas, sunbeds, showers, changing rooms, and waste bins for the convenience of bathers. The beach can accommodate up to an estimated 400 people at a time. The beach is not sandy but rather covered in pebbles. Despite this, it offers a satisfactory experience with shops nearby for food and beverages. The beach is located near the western end of the swimming coast, where the Erateini stream ends. Visitors should be aware that the area is known to have several mosquitoes. Eratini Beach was officially recognized as a bathing beach in 1991. Since then, it has been under the annual bathing water quality monitoring programs conducted by the Ministry of Productive Reconstruction, Environment, and Energy. The beach is located in a quiet area, offering clean sea and plenty of fresh air. It is very close to the town of Eratini, making it a convenient location for visitors.
