Escape Beach

Escape Beach is a secluded spot that offers a unique blend of tranquility and adventure. The beach is accessible via a 1.6km trek from a nearby junction, making it a perfect destination for those who enjoy a bit of a hike. The journey to the beach is downhill, while the return trip is uphill, adding a bit of a challenge to the experience. The beach itself is a mix of rocky and sandy terrain, making it suitable for swimming. However, its natural characteristics are not as enticing as those of Coral Cove. Despite this, it is still highly recommended for those staying on the island for a few days. One of the unique features of Escape Beach is a giant hammock, adding a fun and relaxing element to the beach experience. Visitors can also extend their journey by looping around to the South East Head lookout. The beach is generally not crowded, allowing visitors to have the beach pretty much to themselves. For those who prefer not to walk, there are buggy services available that can drive visitors through the area. However, many visitors find the walk to be worth the effort, as it adds to the overall experience of visiting Escape Beach.
