Fort de Soto

Spanning across five islands, Fort de Soto Park gives you much room to explore whilst you kayak around the area and in between the islands. At the center of Fort de Soto lies an old fort, dating back to the Spanish-American War. This fort is the reason for the name of Fort de Soto Park. The mentioned fort was also used as a gunnery and bombing range in the Second World War. If you are interested in learning more about the history of Fort de Soto, you can head to the Quartermaster Storehouse Museum.
