Indian Rocks

Indian Rocks is a small beach town found in Pinellas County, in south-west Clearwater, FL. Indian Rocks beach stretches for a little under 4.5 kilometres of the coast, and it can be accessed by around 27 different entry points. The entire area has a more simple, calm feel than Clearwater and other more metropolitan areas. Therefore, the beach itself is more calm and enjoyable to those who like to avoid big crowds and the ruckus of city life. There used to be a wooden pier on this beach, but it was destroyed in 1985 by Hurricane Elena. There have been shark sightings, however they are quite rare and usually don’t go near the swimmers.
