Spiaggia Funcitedda is a beautiful beach located within the Torre Salsa reserve. The beach is known for its stunning natural characteristics, including a beautiful white stone and a calm blue ocean. To the right of the beach, there is a nudist area. The beach is sandy and wide, providing ample space for visitors. It is also noted for its cleanliness.
Despite its beauty, Spiaggia Funcitedda is a quiet place, often less crowded except during the peak season in August. The beach is reachable via an unpaved road, which may not be suitable for low cars. The directions to the beach are not well signposted, so visitors are advised to plan their route carefully.
There are no services available at the beach, so visitors are advised to bring everything they need for their stay, including food and drinks. The beach is accessible from 8pm onwards, and the WWF guards issue fines for those who violate this rule.
In addition to its natural beauty, Spiaggia Funcitedda is also a site of ecological interest. In August 2019, a loggerhead nest was found at the beach, highlighting its importance as a habitat for wildlife.
