Horsey Beach

Horsey Beach is a picturesque location situated near Great Yarmouth. It is known for its clean and tidy environment, with a beautiful backdrop of cliffs that are ideal for walking. The beach is particularly famous for its grey seals, which can often be seen swimming in the clean sea water or sunbathing on the shore. Visitors are advised to keep a distance from the seals and to avoid leaving any garbage on the beach. The beach is easily accessible, with a convenient parking facility located nearby. From the parking area, it is a short 2-5 minute walk to the beach. However, the beach may not be suitable for those with mobility issues due to a large sandy incline followed by an uneven cement decline. The parking facility operates on a pay and display system, but apart from this, there are limited amenities available at Horsey Beach. Despite the lack of amenities, the sight of seals playing in the sea and resting on the beach makes Horsey Beach a must-visit destination in Norfolk. The beach can get crowded, especially when the seals are pregnant and the beach is off limits to protect them. Regardless of the weather conditions, whether it's a heavy rainstorm or a sunny day, Horsey Beach offers a unique experience of observing seals in their natural habitat.
