Hotasia

Hotasia Beach is a unique beach located not far from Areopoli and is easily accessible by car. Unlike traditional beaches, Hotasia does not feature sand or pebbles, but rather a concrete surface. This distinct characteristic makes it one of the most special locations within the Mani Peninsula. The beach is equipped with several short metal bars embedded into the concrete, which can be used to install umbrellas. The water at Hotasia is noted for its cleanliness, making it an ideal spot for swimming. Despite its small size, the beach is a few minutes away from the main road, making it a convenient location for a quick swim. However, it should be noted that the cafe on the beach is currently not operational.
