Jacksonville Beach is a small coastal city in Jacksonville, on the east coast of Florida, USA. It was once known as Pablo beach, but the name was changed in 1925. This is the city’s main beach, but it is surprisingly not overcrowded despite this fact. It’s a perfect place to take a romantic walk, cool off by swimming or take your kids for a fun beach day. The beach is overseen by lifeguards, so it’s good for families with small children or inexperienced swimmers. You can also see the Jacksonville Beach Pier, however you will not be able to take a walk on it for a while, as it is getting renovated due to damages from hurricanes Matthew and Irma.
