Jamaica Beach, locally known as Spiaggia Giamaica, is a picturesque beach situated in Sirmione, on the shores of Lake Garda, Italy. This tranquil oasis is nestled in the northern part of the Sirmione Peninsula, offering a serene escape from city life.

The beach can be reached by car or bicycle, and there is a parking lot near the Ponte Levatoio, which is the entrance to the Sirmione Peninsula. However, vehicles aren't allowed beyond the castle walls, so visitors must continue on foot. The beach is approximately 2 kilometers north of the castle walls and can be accessed by following a path that takes about 10 minutes to walk. This path offers scenic views of the lake and passes through olive groves. There are two paths to choose from: a lakeside path or a higher panoramic path.
For a different experience, visitors can rent an electric boat from Desenzano or Sirmione, and reach the beach in just 15 minutes. There's also a train service available during the summer months that departs from the Terme di Sirmione and stops near the entrance of the Grotte di Catullo. This beach is also dog-friendly.
However, the beach is not very extensive, so it's recommended to arrive early in the morning to find a spot. It can be crowded during weekends and summer months, so a boat tour is a convenient option. Jamaica Beach is open from April to September and is a popular destination for both locals and tourists seeking relaxation and enjoyment of the lake.
