Praia do João Vaz is a unique beach known for its clear blue waters rather than traditional sandy shores. However, the sea can be quite rough at times, adding a touch of wild beauty to the landscape. Accessing Praia do João Vaz can be challenging due to the rough condition of the last few hundred meters of the road leading to the beach. It is recommended to have a vehicle with good ground clearance to navigate this terrain. Alternatively, visitors can choose to walk from the eastern side of the beach. Despite the difficult access, the beach offers a beautiful view that makes the journey worthwhile. However, due to these conditions, it may not be the most suitable location for family outings.
