Kizimkazi

The Beach Kizimkazi is situated in the fishing village of Kizimkazi, located on the southwestern coast of Zanzibar in Tanzania. The beach is predominantly made up of sand, with some rocky areas. The Indian Ocean is warm, clean, and calm, and is monitored by lifeguards for safety. However, the coastline is not suitable for swimming during low tide. Kizimkazi is a secluded resort that boasts attractions such as old buildings and the oldest functioning Shirazi mosque in East Africa. The best time to visit is from July to March, with the rainy season occurring in April, May, and November. The climate in Zanzibar is monsoon, with a temperature difference of 6-10 degrees and consistent gusts from the sea.
