Playa de la Paloma, also known as Esteiro, is a picturesque beach located in the municipality of Tapia de Casariego, in the province of Asturias, Spain. Playa de la Paloma is easily accessible on foot or by car, with the nearest road being the N-634. For those who prefer to drive, there is an unguarded parking lot with less than 50 spaces available. From the parking lot, a short stone path leads directly to the beach, which is not visible from the parking area. Despite this, the path is easy to navigate and doesn't pose any difficulties for visitors.

During the peak season, lifeguard surveillance is provided, ensuring the safety of the beachgoers. Cleaning services are also available, maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of the beach.
During peak season, the beach tends to be crowded, particularly during the weekends. Nevertheless, the beach maintains a relatively calm atmosphere on weekdays. Its proximity to a nearby campsite also makes it a popular destination for campers.
The beach is surrounded by several coves that connect to the main beach during low tide. Additionally, there is a river called Arroyo de la Fernada nearby, which adds to the overall natural charm of the area.
