Playa de la Ribera is a small urban beach located in the center of Suances, at the mouth of the Saja River, in the province of Cantabria, Spain. The beach spans approximately 130 meters in length and 40 meters in width, with a fairly consistent size. It is characterized by its fine golden sand and calm waters, a feature that makes it an ideal destination for families with children.

Being in the heart of Suances, Playa de la Ribera is easily accessible both by foot and by car. For those opting to drive, parking is available with a capacity of 50 to 100 spaces. Alternatively, there is also the Torrelavega - Suances interurban bus service that provides access to the beach. The beach is also equipped with amenities for individuals with disabilities, ensuring its accessibility to all visitors.

Despite its size, Playa de la Ribera is known to be a popular destination among tourists. It offers a range of services including outdoor showers for visitors to rinse off after swimming. There are also trash bins provided, though visitors are urged to exercise care and respect in maintaining the beach's natural beauty. Dining options are available in the vicinity, contributing to the lively atmosphere of the area during the day and evening.
