This sandy shoreline boasts of the stunning and imposing Morne Brabant mountain as its backdrop, and is highly sought-after for its crystal clear waters, dazzling sand, and coral reefs, which make it a preferred site for snorkelling and diving. The mountain has been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

Visitors to the beach can indulge in wind-surfing, as well as Kitesurfing - the peak season for wind-surfing is between May and September, while Kitesurfing is typically best from November to March. The beach is home to several restaurants, bars, and a parking facility.
