Situated on the southwest region of Mauritius island, at a distance of 25 kilometers from Black River Gorges National Park, lies the renowned Le Morne Public Beach. This sandy shoreline boasts of the stunning and imposing Morne Brabant mountain as its backdrop, and is highly sought-after for its crystal clear waters, dazzling sand, and coral reefs, which make it a preferred site for snorkelling and diving. The mountain has been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

Visitors to the beach can indulge in wind-surfing, as well as Kitesurfing - the peak season for wind-surfing is between May and September, while Kitesurfing is typically best from November to March. The beach is home to several restaurants, bars, and a parking facility.
