Meols Beach

Meols Beach is a picturesque location situated in Wirral, known for its expansive space, light, and stunning views across the bay. The tides at Meols Beach have been observed to be out for most of the day, revealing sands that may appear treacherous due to the presence of quicksand. However, this also exposes cockles and allows for walkers to venture further out. In terms of amenities, Meols Beach is equipped with plenty of bins and a WC block, although it has been reported to be locked at times. While there are not many cafes or shops directly on the front, a short 16-minute walk will lead visitors to the nearby Park Road holiday park. Parking at Meols Beach is convenient with lots of on-street parking available. It is also noted for its excellent parking facilities which are free of charge. There is even overnight parking for campervans in a secluded spot. The beach is accessible by bike from New Brighton, making it a great destination for a day trip.
