Cala Murada

Cala Murada is a tranquil beach complex located in the southeast of Mallorca, Spain. Known for its picturesque beauty, it is surrounded by a pine forest and is divided into two distinct areas: a sandy right side and a quieter, rocky left side. The beach is characterized by its clear waters, making it an ideal spot for various water activities such as swimming, paddle boarding, snorkeling, and even cliff jumping. Despite its popularity among tourists, the beach is not typically crowded, even on weekends.

Cala Murada offers a range of amenities and services for visitors. These include a restaurant where visitors can dine under palm trees, sunbed rentals, showers, public toilets, and lifeguards who are present to ensure the safety of beachgoers. Dogs are not permitted on the beach, and nudism is not allowed.

The beach is accessible by foot, car, boat, or public transportation, and there is parking available next to the beach for those arriving by car. The area also features a walking path for visitors to explore the surrounding pine forest.

Despite its many amenities, some visitors have suggested that the beach could benefit from more natural elements, such as additional trees and plants to provide shade and reduce the heat from the surrounding concrete structures. It's also worth noting that while the beach is generally clean, there have been instances of plastic rubbish being found, particularly on the right side of the beach. Moreover, the beach has a mix of sand and small to medium-sized stones, which some visitors may find less appealing. To reach the beach bottom, visitors must cross a belt in the water.
