Orkos Beach

The beach is a bit difficult to reach from Lakka due to some steep hills, making it not recommended for people with walking limitations or very young kids. However, the trek is considered worth it by many visitors. The beach is surrounded by clear blue waters, offering a refreshing experience for swimmers. Sun or shade can be found throughout the day just a few metres away from the water's edge. The beach is also a popular spot for nude sunbathing. It is important to note that there are no amenities available on the beach, so visitors are advised to bring their own food and water. Additionally, visitors are encouraged to take their rubbish home with them to maintain the cleanliness of the beach. Parking is available a short 700m walk from the beach. Visitors are advised to follow the Orkos Beach sign when using Google Maps to avoid getting lost in private villages. The walk through the fauna to get to the beach is described as relatively short and pleasant.
