Paralia Chrisi Ammos

Paralia Chrisi Ammos is a long sandy beach located opposite the Sphaktiria island, near Gialova. It is known for its fine sand, turquoise waters, and beautiful weather. The beach is mostly unorganized, but there is an organized part with umbrellas. The water is shallow, with the deepest part being approximately 160cm, making it ideal for water sports. However, visitors should be cautious of boats passing through to/from the open sea. The beach can get very crowded during weekends and holidays, even in its unorganized parts. It is also known to get windy, so visitors are advised to secure their sun umbrellas. The road leading up to the Lagoon parking is asphalted and wide enough with lots of speed bumps. After that, it becomes a tarmac road. In some parts, it can be difficult for two cars to pass each other, but generally, it does not pose a problem. The beach is also known for its clear waters and lovely views, making it a popular choice for young children. Despite its popularity, the beach maintains a relaxed atmosphere with chill out beats.
