Paralia Vrachatiou

Paralia Vrachatiou is a popular beach located approximately an hour away from Athens. The beach is known for its clean, warm waters and its rocky and pebble terrain. It has been awarded the E.U. Blue Flag designation, a mark of quality for beaches which meet high standards for cleanliness and safety. The beach is well-organized and equipped with numerous amenities for visitors. These include a large number of sun loungers and umbrellas, which are available between May and September. There are also plenty of cafes, hotels, and beach bars in the vicinity, offering a range of services and a vibrant evening life. Lifesaver posts are also a common sight along the beach, ensuring the safety of the beachgoers. Despite its popularity, the beach is known to attract a large number of visitors, with more than 3000 people per day during peak times. However, it's worth noting that the local authorities have implemented certain restrictions, including the prohibition of the use of publicly available water taps and showers on the beach.
