Perea Beach

Perea Beach is a picturesque beach located at a distance from the city of Thessaloniki. The beach offers a stunning view of the gulf and the mountain. It is accessible by two buses or a boat trip. The beach is characterized by its sandy coastline and incredibly shallow waters that stretch out for at least 50 meters, making it an ideal spot for families, non-swimmers, or anyone looking to unwind. The beach is somewhat narrow but covers a long distance. The beach is lined with trees and bushes that provide shade from the sun. Despite occasional littering issues, the beach is relatively clean. However, visitors should be cautious of the 'free' benches and umbrellas as the local cafes and restaurants can be quite sketchy when dealing with tourists. Perea Beach also features a beautiful promenade full of restaurants and offers activities for kids, including dancing and choreography, and live music. The beach is known for its breathtaking sunsets. Parking is available and is usually free, although it can be hard to find free spaces in the evenings. The beach tends to be more crowded during the dinner hours.
