Plakaki Beach

Plakaki Beach is a unique coastal destination known for its clear waters and stunning views. The beach is characterized by its rocky terrain, making it an ideal spot for cliff jumps and snorkeling. However, due to the rocky nature of the beach, it is recommended to wear sports shoes for safety. The beach is not sandy and may not be suitable for small children. Access to the beach requires a bit of agility and fitness, as it involves a 15-20 minute walk down a narrow road and stairs. Despite the somewhat challenging access, the breathtaking views from the beginning of the journey make the trip worthwhile. Visitors are advised to arrive early for the best experience. Parking is conveniently available on the roadside near the beach. There is also a kiosk at the parking area where visitors can purchase refreshments before heading down to the beach. However, there are no amenities once you reach the sea. Visitors are also advised not to stay at the beach after 6pm.
