Platja de María Casiana is a beach located near Denia. It is characterized by its quiet and natural environment, set back from the main road, which eliminates any road noise. The beach is known for its shallow waters, where one can walk out up to 50 meters while still remaining in their depth. However, visitors should be aware of underwater rocks at the western end of the beach. The beach is easily accessible and offers parking facilities, with an esplanade located nearby. It is particularly suitable for families with small children and older people, as it provides a lifeguard service during the summer months. The shallow waters extend far inland, reaching only up to an adult's knees, making it easy to keep an eye on children. Despite its natural beauty, the beach is quite basic and has been reported to have accumulations of algae along the shore. It does not offer any bars, shops, or cafes. There is a beach bar available, but visitors should note that the beach is not regularly cleaned.
