Platja Torres

Platja Torres, also referred to as La Vila Joiosa or Villajoyosa, is a beach nestled between the locations of La Cala and Villajoyosa. Renowned for its natural attributes, the beach is characterized by a rocky terrain, and a forested area nearby. Adding to the natural beauty are Eucalyptus trees that dot the area and provide much-needed shade. The water at this beach is typically clear, providing an ideal setting for activities such as stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling, particularly around the left-hand side and rear of the rock formations. Visitors are advised to bring their own chairs due to the rocky strand.

Platja Torres tends to attract a significant number of visitors, especially on Sundays and during the Spanish holiday season. Despite its popularity, it maintains its charm and provides a pleasant atmosphere for an afternoon outing. The beach offers amenities including a beach bar that is operational during the summer season.

As for parking, the options are limited. However, visitors have the convenience of unloading their bags and loungers before parking their vehicles a short walk away. Due to the stony nature of the beach, it is recommended for visitors to wear appropriate footwear while walking on the beach or entering the sea.
