The beach is accessible via a new road and bridge over the river Serpis, which also leads to Gandia port. However, recent construction works for the bridge have temporarily closed beach access and led to the disappearance of a nearby park. The area is also frequented by recreational vehicles, which often camp overnight for free. Despite its popularity, the beach is not regularly cleaned outside of the high season.
