Poda Island

Beach Poda Island is situated in the Krabi province's national marine park, on a rocky formation covered with dense tropical vegetation. The island features a white sandy beach at the base of its cliffs. The northern part of the island has a broad and comfortable beach area with a gradual slope into the sea and a sandy bottom, but it may become crowded. Conversely, the southern side of the island has a narrow shore covered in stones and sharp debris, making it challenging to swim. The beach is a popular destination among enthusiasts of unique landscapes and climbers, and only trained climbers can ascend to the island's top. The best time to visit is from November to April, when the temperature is consistent, and there is calm sea and minimal precipitation and winds. Visitors must bring their own food, drinks, umbrella, mat, and towel, as the prices in bars are steep, and a tourist fee of 400 baht is mandatory. The beach is suitable for swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, and diving, and there are tour companies that provide snorkeling equipment. The beach is situated in Krabi, Thailand.
