Point Cartwright Beach

Point Cartwright Beach is a popular destination for family fun and beach walks, known for its abundant sunshine. The beach is naturally divided into two sections, with the pocket side protected from the northeastern wind, making it a good surf spot during mid tides. The point, on the other hand, is best during high tide and is protected from southerly winds. The beach is also home to a beautiful bush walk and picnic area near the lighthouse. This pool is far enough from the canal entrance to avoid effluent concerns, but close enough to provide entertainment from passing boats.
