Playa de Portinatx

Playa de Portinatx is a picturesque location situated in the tourist town of Portinatx in Ibiza, Spain. It is found at the northern end of the island and is easily accessible by a scenic road. The beach is known for its stunning views, clear waters, and a coastline adorned with tall rocks. It is divided into three unique beaches, each offering a different experience to the visitors. The largest beach, S'Arenal Gros, is a lively spot with a wide expanse of white sand and shallow, calm waters. It is the only beach in Portinatx with lifeguard services and offers a range of water sports and boat rentals. The beach is equipped with amenities including sun loungers, umbrellas, showers, a promenade, a playground, and a supermarket. It also provides disabled access and is surrounded by several restaurants and bars. Adjacent to S'Arenal Gros is the smaller beach, S'Arenal Petit. A paved walkway connects the two beaches. S'Arenal Petit extends further inland with its white sand and offers a smaller bay. Its clear and cool waters are perfect for a refreshing dip. One side of the beach is lined with fishing huts, adding to its charm. The third beach, Playa Porto, is located at the end of the main road. It is a quieter beach nestled among hills covered with pine trees and a distant lighthouse. The sand on this beach is coarser with small stones. The bay is narrow and protected by nearby islands, resulting in calm waters. Playa Porto offers scenic walks and opportunities for photography, including access to a small hidden beach over the rocks. The town of Portinatx provides a good selection of shops, bars, and restaurants near the beaches. Parking is available near the beach, providing easy access for visitors. Despite its popularity, Playa de Portinatx maintains a peaceful atmosphere, particularly outside the peak season. The natural beauty of the northern landscape of Ibiza makes it a perfect spot for holiday villas.
