Priory Beach

Priory Beach is a stunning, quiet beach known for its crystal clear sea. It is surrounded by trees, providing plenty of shade, and is characterized by its sandy terrain. The beach is not easily accessible, which contributes to its tranquility. It can only be reached by foot, either through the woods from St Helen's Duver or from Seagrove Bay. The route through the woods can be muddy even in hot weather, so sturdy waterproof shoes are recommended. The beach is located within the Priory Estate and is a popular spot for dog walkers and beachgoers who boat from their moored yachts. Despite its remote location, it is frequented by visitors, some of whom unfortunately leave litter behind. While the beach itself does not have facilities or amenities, there is a café and facilities a short walk away around the headland southward. The coastline northward towards Seaview offers fascinating views. However, visitors should note that there is a bit of a walk to get a drink, snacks, and access to a toilet.
