Punta Bianca Beach, located in Agrigento, Sicily, is a part of the stunning Costa Bianca coastline, renowned for its distinctive white hue. From the beach, there is a view of a path that leads to the top of a hill where a World War II bunker still stands. The white cliffs that give the beach its name also have the ruins of an old customs house, contributing to the beach's mysterious atmosphere.
The cleanliness of the beach is one of its most notable features, with the water described as extremely clean and transparent. However, it's important to note that the beach's maintenance is primarily handled by non-governmental organizations that occasionally organize clean-ups, as there seems to be no public authority in charge of this task.
In terms of amenities, there is no direct road access or established parking facilities at Punta Bianca Beach. Access to the beach is primarily through hiking or boating. Visitors are recommended to arrive early in the morning to fully enjoy the beauty of the place.
